How to Tell Which Scenario You're In
When I took over purchasing in 2020, I thought buying cold-chain equipment was just a matter of matching the old part number. I was wrong. Now I manage orders for a cold-chain logistics company with about 180 employees, three sites, and a long list of vendors. This guide is the mental model I use when the ops team asks for something new.
There is no single correct setup. The right choice depends on whether you are cooling a room, running a truck, or trying to keep an office comfortable.
