CopelandTech was founded in 2005 by a team of compressor engineers who saw an opportunity to bring a higher standard of performance documentation to the refrigeration compressor market. Too many compressors shipped with catalog ratings that diverged significantly from actual field performance. We set out to change that.
Today, with 450 employees across 3 manufacturing facilities, we produce over 8,500 compressor units annually — each one tested against AHRI standards before it leaves our factory floor. Our 62-person R&D team continuously refines scroll geometry, valve timing, and motor efficiency to extract measurable performance gains from each product generation.
We serve customers in 48 countries through 15 regional service centers, and every compressor we sell comes with published performance curves, not just a brochure.
